Thank you for trying DXL-MSG. The files contained in this demo package are:

DemoLicense.txt The license agreement for using DXL-MSG for evaluation purposes
DXL-MSG_32.exe DXL-to-MSG/EML Console program for use with 32-bit editions of Microsoft Outlook
DXL-MSG_64.exe DXL-to-MSG/EML Console program for use with 64-bit editions of Microsoft Outlook
Lotus Proxy.exe A helper program used by DXL-MSG_64.exe to interface with the Notes API
    DXL-MSG.chm HTML help file
DXL-MSG_Help.exe Help file in eBook form (requires Adobe Digital Editions)

DXL-MSG depends on your having both Microsoft Outlook and either a Notes Client or Domino server installed. If you are using DXL-MSG with a 32-bit edition of Outlook then you can delete "DXL-MSG_64.exe" and "Lotus Proxy.exe". If you are working with a 64-bit edition of Outlook then you can delete "DXL-MSG_32.exe". If you have a choice, we strongly recommend working with a 32-bit Outlook.

To run the converter, open a Console window, navigate to the directory where you have the DXL-MSG files, and run "DXL-MSG_32.exe" or "DXL-MSG_64.exe" as appropriate. This demo converter is fully functional except that it changes random digits in the body text of messages to '#'.

The two help files have identical content so please use whichever format you prefer. If you run the HTML help file and it appears to have no content, that is the right pane is blank, then please close it and then do this: Find the file in Windows Explorer, right-click on it and select "Properties" then click the "Unblock" button near the bottom of the "General" tab. Use of the eBook help requires having Adobe Digital Editions installed.

If you run DXL-MSG.exe and get a message saying "The program can't start because nNOTES.dll is missing from your computer" then don't panic! Please open either of the DXL-MSG help files, look for the first topic in the "Troubleshooting" chapter and you will find guidance on how to solve this. It is easily done in most cases.
